![]() Twisted TortoiseAustralian scientists observing the Fitzroy River tortoise couldnt understand how it was able to stay underwater for so much longer than other tortoises. Tortoises are reptiles, after all, and they have to surface from time to time to breathe. Yet this tortoise seemed to manage quite fine without ever coming up for air.
